UNDERGROUND UTILITY DETECTION, TEMPORARY BENCHMARKS ESTABLISHMENT, AND DEMARCATION FOR PROPOSED KALBA UNIVERSITY NEW EXTENSION

SAMGEO has been appointed by HARDCO GROUP to perform an underground detection utility detection survey and demarcation for the proposed new extension  of Kalba University main building, Kalba, Emirate
of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

The project objectives are to ensure the construction area is clear from buried utilities as electrical cables, telecommunication cables, water, non-metallic pipelines, identify any existing utilities and take the required action to ensure the safe commencement of construction works. In addition, precise demarcation for the building corners, vertex, and foundations.

Underground detection has been conducted using modern equipment that transmit electromagnetic waives been generated in a specific frequency and receive/trace the signal and then interpreted the depth of the metallic objects. Where non-metallic objectives were been investigated via different means, from visual inspection, marking present evidence, analysing the location of built facilities, collecting data from relative authorities, and running Radar pulse around the area.
